Craft Fair, Saturday 27th August 2011.

The Landscape Centre, Donegore will be hosting demonstrations of traditional crafts such as willow weaving, wood turning and needlework on Saturday 27th August between 11am and 4pm.
Demonstrations will take place throughout the day and shown below are some of the craftspeople who will be demonstrating:
- Clive Lyttle of
Welig Crafts, Portaferry will be demonstrating how to make tradtional Irish baskets, furniture and willow garden ware.
- The Glen Gallery from Cullybackey will be showing off their intricate knitting and needlework skills.
- Crumlin based
Jennifer Shaw will be demonstrating her jewellery making skills using
using a combination of crystals, semi precious stones, natural materials and traditional beads.
The studio gallery at
Leadlines and David Esler Studio will also be open and visitors can browse their selection of paintings, prints, sculpture, ceramics and jewellery from contemporary artists based in Ireland. As part of the August Craft Month, each Saturday in August, David will be discussing the inspiration and use of poetry behind some of his commissions.
